Our Policy:
Course placement is not guaranteed without full payment.
Courses should be paid in full at time of booking. For courses that require a deposit, the full course cost must be paid at minimum 14-days prior to the course start date
If you must reschedule, you will be placed in the next available course. You will need to pay the difference (if any) in the cost of the course.
Cancellations with 14 or more days notice may be entitled to a full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee. If course materials have been provided at time of cancellation, they will be deducted from the refund amount.
Cancellations more than 7 and less than 14 days are entitled to a 50% refund. If course materials have been provided at time of cancellation, they will be deducted from the refund amount.
Cancellations within 7 days are not entitled to any refund.
For applicable courses - If you miss more then 10% of your course for any reason, the entire course must be retaken (per Transport Canada regulations) at your own cost.
Training Certificates are not issued without payment in full
For courses requiring Fatigue Management at Sea pre-requisite - Proof of completion should be sent during registration. If you have not completed at time of registration please note this must be emailed to training@saferoceans.com within 10 days of completing your Safer Oceans course or you will not be issued a certificate and will need to re-take the course at full cost
For courses with Practical Submissions - submissions must be sent to your instructor within 10 days of completing your Safer Oceans course or you will not be issued a certificate and will need to re-take the course at full cost
